It’s a real honor to be able to chat with you today many thanks for sharing your precious time.

What put you on the writing path and inspired you to write?

James Lee Burke

I never wanted to be anything other than a writer. It wasn’t a conscious choice. My cousin Andre Dubus and I began writing when we were teenagers and learned a great deal from each other, I think.

Lou Pendergrast
How did you find the road to writing your first novel, did you find it hard?

James Lee Burke
It’s always hard. It requires a lifetime to get it right, if one ever does.
